Bozo (The Clown) - Capitol Records Promotional mask with Childrens Book (1950s)

This scarce vintage 1950s Bozo the Clown promotional set was produced by Capitol Records to accompany the classic “Bozo at the Circus” record-and-book series. The package features:

Original Bozo die-cut mask – brightly printed with Bozo’s signature red hair, big nose, and wide grin.
Children’s storybook – Bozo at the Circus, with colorful illustrations and text synchronized to the accompanying Capitol Records album (not included).

Bozo was created in the 1940s by Capitol Records and quickly became one of the most famous clowns in America, later expanding into TV shows, toys, and live performances. This set was part of the early promotional push that cemented Bozo as a household name.
