Gabby (Gullivers Travels) - Paramount Pictures - Heckers Flour - Promotional Paper Mask (1939)
Step back into 1939 with this rare promotional paper mask featuring Gabby, the grumpy yet lovable town crier from Paramount Pictures’ Gulliver’s Travels. Released as a cross-promotion with Hecker’s Flour, this mask was distributed to children just as Paramount launched its lavish animated feature—an ambitious answer to Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The reverse side features a charming “Lilliputian Cake” recipe using Hecker’s Flour, along with playful directions for kids to “act out” scenes from the movie at home.

Rarity & Collectibility:
This is part of the Gulliver’s Travels promotional mask set, which also featured Gulliver, King Little, Princess Glory, and others. Gabby, however, is among the most desirable characters due to his popularity and eventual spin-off cartoon series (1940–41).
