Juanita (from Latin America) - Wheaties Cereal mask (1940s-50s) - backside

$95.00

This “Juanita” mask is one of the culturally themed characters issued on the back panels of Wheaties cereal boxes in the late 1940s–50s. With her large expressive eyes, hoop earrings, and a rose tucked into her hair, Juanita reflects the mid-century fascination with “international” character masks designed to spark children’s imagination.

While not as frequently seen as some of the more common characters, Juanita is still among the harder examples to locate in clean, full-panel form.
