A true gem of 1930s animation memorabilia, this full-color paper mask features Princess Glory, the heroine of Paramount Pictures’ 1939 animated feature Gulliver’s Travels. Released to compete with Disney’s Snow White, Paramount’s lavish fairy-tale musical was supported by a wide national promotion—including this rare Hecker’s Flour premium mask.
The back side includes a period-perfect “Lilliputian Cakes” recipe, along with directions for children to reenact scenes from the movie at home. Issued as a grocery-store tie-in, these masks were usually worn, bent, and discarded.
