Wheaties Whole Wheat Flakes (1925) - complete cereal box - NOS

$225.00

A remarkable survivor from the dawn of American breakfast cereal history — this is an original 1925 Wheaties Whole Wheat Flakes box, complete and unassembled, preserved in New Old Stock (NOS) condition.

Introduced in the mid-1920s by the Washburn-Crosby Company (which later became General Mills), Wheaties quickly branded itself as “The Breakfast of Champions.” This early version predates the iconic sports endorsements that would soon define the cereal’s identity. Instead, it carries a bold and simple orange-and-blue design with strong typography, emphasizing the product’s whole wheat nutrition.

Boxes from this era are among the earliest known Wheaties packaging examples — few survived since most were assembled, filled, and discarded after use. To find a flat, unassembled box in this state nearly a century later is exceptionally rare.
