Happy (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) - Foremost Milk Shake Mix - Advertising Paper Mask (1967)
This is an original 1967 promotional paper mask of Happy, one of the beloved Seven Dwarfs from Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It was created as a tie-in with the Foremost Milk Shake Mix promotion, which ran during the theatrical re-release of Snow White in 1967.
Unlike the fragile 1937 Par-T-Mask series produced by Einson Freeman, this mask was printed nearly three decades later as part of Disney’s continued marketing push to new generations. Distributed through Foremost Dairies, these masks tied food products directly to the re-release campaign, reflecting the 1960s golden era of cross-promotion between studios and household brands.
On the reverse, the mask carries printed Foremost advertising: “Be sure to try all of the delicious flavors of Snow White Milk Shake Mix”, making it a rare blend of Disneyana and vintage food advertising ephemera.
Happy’s design here is cheerful and bold, with rich lithographed colors capturing his rosy cheeks, bright smile, and oversized green cap. The mask is large and eye-catching, measuring 13 ½ inches by 9 inches, and remains an affordable entry point for collectors seeking authentic vintage Snow White memorabilia.
