Lucifer (Walt Disney) - Wheaties Cereal mask (1951) - backside

This Wheaties cereal mask features Lucifer the Cat, the sly and mischievous feline from Walt Disney’s 1950 animated classic Cinderella. Issued in 1951 as part of General Mills’ Disney “Fun Mask” promotion, it captures Lucifer’s devious grin and became one of the more unusual and lesser-saved masks in the series.

Unlike beloved heroes such as Bambi or Pinocchio, Lucifer was a villain character, which meant children were less likely to preserve his mask. Most were cut up and played with, making complete backside panels like this one increasingly uncommon today.
