Mother Goose - Kelloggs Corn Flakes Pantomine mask (1955) - cutout (UK)
$100.00
A whimsical survivor from Kellogg’s Pantomime mask series, issued on Corn Flakes boxes in the United Kingdom during the mid-1950s. This Mother Goose mask reflects the classic British holiday tradition of pantomime theater, where fairy-tale characters were brought to life on stage in colorful, exaggerated fashion.
Printed on the reverse of the cereal box, children were encouraged to cut out and wear the masks, making intact examples very scarce today. The warm colors, spectacles, and pointed cap design make this an instantly recognizable piece in the pantomime collection.
Measures approx. 8" × 9.5"
1955 U.K. issue
