Tasmanian Devil - Kelloggs Corn Flakes "Funny Faces" mask (1955) - backside cutout (Australia)
This is an authentic 1955 Australian Kellogg’s Corn Flakes box-back mask, produced as part of the official set of eight “Funny Face Masks” advertised nationally in Australian newspapers during April–May 1955. These masks were printed directly on the back panels of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes boxes and were designed to be cut out and worn by kids at breakfast.
The Tasmanian Devil is one of the confirmed characters from this Australian-exclusive set. It features the exact blue/red Kellogg’s mask typography used throughout the 1950s promotional line, the same dotted cut lines, and the same “It’s easy! Cut along the edges…” instruction block found on other masks from this campaign. This design was created specifically for the Australian market and appeared only on Kellogg’s cereal boxes sold in Australia.
THE AUSTRALIAN 1955 KELLOGG’S MASK CHARACTERS
Kellogg’s Australia promoted a full set of eight masks in 1955. Known Australian characters from this promotion include:

These eight characters represent the complete Australian set offered that year. Each was printed on Australian Corn Flakes boxes during the same promotional window advertised nationally.
