The Witch (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) - Par-T-Mask - Einson Freeman Co. Paper Mask (1937)

$95.00

This original paper mask was produced in 1937 by the Einson Freeman Company, Inc., as part of their licensed Par-T-Mask series tied to Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The Witch (often called the Evil Queen in disguise) is one of the most iconic villains in cinema history. When Snow White premiered in 1937, it terrified and enchanted audiences in equal measure. Disney’s decision to portray the Queen’s transformation into a withered, menacing hag left a lasting impression, making the Witch a cornerstone of Disney villainy for generations.

The Einson Freeman masks were distributed as party favors and promotional giveaways at the height of the film’s popularity. Printed in bold litho colors, this Witch mask captures her sinister grin, hooked nose, and shadowed eyes, complete with “THE WITCH” printed across the headdress. At over 85 years old, surviving examples are scarce — especially in good condition with vibrant colors.

These masks were meant to be worn, discarded, or taped to walls, and few were saved. Today, they stand as highly collectible pieces of early Disneyana ephemera, embodying the studio’s very first full-length animated feature and the dawn of character-driven movie marketing.
