Indian Princess - Kelloggs Rice Krispies mask (1950s) - backside

$75.00

This vintage “Indian Princess” mask was printed on the backside of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies boxes during the 1950s, part of the brand’s colorful series of cereal box premiums. Children could cut out the mask, punch holes for string, and instantly transform breakfast into playtime.

The imagery reflects the advertising styles of its era, when Native American–themed characters were often used in commercial promotions. Today, the mask serves as both a nostalgic childhood artifact and a cultural snapshot of mid-century cereal marketing. Because these were printed directly on boxes and meant to be discarded after play, surviving examples are scarce and highly sought after among collectors of vintage advertising ephemera.
