Wendy's Fast Food - "Where's the Beef?" - Promotional Paper Mask (1984)

$40.00

This die-cut cardboard mask features Clara Peller, the unforgettable star of Wendy’s 1984 “Where’s the Beef?” campaign. The catchphrase exploded into pop culture, showing up in TV skits, politics, and even on merchandise.

Wendy’s produced a handful of oddball promo items during this time, but masks like this one were never mass-market Happy Meal toys—they were regional advertising premiums, often given out in limited promotions or distributed through ad kits.

This survivor still has its original elastic string, vivid colors, and shows light vintage handling wear. There is a small rip in the top of the mask (as pictured).

Fun Fact: In 1984, presidential candidate Walter Mondale used the slogan “Where’s the beef?” in a debate against Gary Hart—cementing this ad as a piece of political and pop culture history.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Elastic intact. Minimal wear... tear across top (as pictured)
Size: Adult-size, approx. 10" tall.
Date: 1984
