Witch - Kelloggs Corn Flakes mask (1954) - backside

$85.00

Original vintage cut-out mask called simply “Witch,” issued on the back of a Kellogg’s Corn Flakes box in 1954. Measures approx. 7.5" × 11".

This character was part of Kellogg’s mid-1950s mask-back promotion, where kids could cut and wear masks directly from cereal boxes. Unlike the “Cackler” witch design from the same era, this version features a pointed hat with a bold buckle and gold hoop earrings — a more classic Halloween look.

Because children typically cut these out and discarded them after play, surviving uncut panels like this are scarce and highly collectible, especially among Halloween ephemera enthusiasts and cereal advertising collectors.

Historical Significance:

Issued by Kellogg’s Corn Flakes in 1954.

Part of the Halloween-style characters in the Kellogg’s mask promotion series.

One of two different witch designs Kellogg’s released in the 1950s.

Rare to find in complete, uncut condition.
